You should only list cars when they are available. This ensures a good experience for renters and helps you avoid dealing with unwanted booking requests.
Once an owner confirms a booking, we expect both owners and renters to honour them to the best of their ability to ensure a quality marketplace and to avoid extra fees.
When a request initially comes in, vehicle owners can always refuse any rental request, at no extra charge or penalty to their visibility on Fleet, provided they have not already confirmed the booking.
However, if you have to cancel after accepting a booking:
More than 48 hours before the rental period - Owners may be charged a cancellation fee, which shall be no less than the administration fee charged to the renter; or
Less than 48 hours before the renting period - Fleet reserves the right to charge the owner a fee up to the total of the driver fee and Fleet may issue credit to the driver for such cancellation.
