When an Owner lists their car to rent on Fleet, they are committing to the Fleet Terms and Conditions which is to ensure that all vehicles listed on the platform are safe and roadworthy.
This includes a valid NCT and Tax disc, and that the vehicle does not have any mechanical faults, the tyres are not below the minimum legal tread depth, the vehicle is serviced, deemed legally roadworthy and clean inside and out.
Unfortunately, Fleet cannot check each vehicle’s condition manually. However, to ensure that our users get the best experience and safety, we ask all driver to rate and review the owner and vehicle they rented and rate their experience. In the event that vehicles are reported as dangerous or not road worthy, Fleet will take necessary measures to ensure the safety of our user's and will remove the vehicle from the platform.
Our drivers also have peace of mind, that in the event the vehicle breaks down or fails to start, you are fully covered with our Breakdown assistance policy through the Fleet insurance policy. Our breakdown assistance is available 24/7. Our policy will look after the vehicle and its passengers.
